About

Hi, I’m Cindy Deng.

For over 20 years, I led product/eng teams to solve problems through technology. It wasn’t always easy navigating environments like Google that were fast-paced and constantly changing, working in complex domains like finance or healthcare or cloud, or bringing vision and harmony to teams that struggled with conflicts and ambiguity. However tricky it may be, I enjoyed deeply understanding user needs and bringing order to chaos.

What was the hardest, however, was seeing people feeling not recognized or heard, getting burned out, or losing passion for what they once cared deeply about. Often, these are humble, hard-working, compassionate, and collaborative leaders - those that would do what needs to be done for the greater good but find it challenging to advocate for themselves, those deep thinkers who are able to see past the surface arguments but are not comfortable to blurt out their ideas without feeling prepared, and those who care so much about those around them but forget to care for themselves. It breaks my heart to see these driven, dedicated, kind leaders feeling stuck, or worse, losing confidence and trust in themselves.

I’ve been there. Humility, hard work, and harmony are some of the core values that were ingrained in me since childhood. I had worked so hard at times at the expense of my health and the most important relationships. It took me a long time to learn some of these lessons - talking about what I’ve accomplished is not bragging, making my work visible can be just as important as the work itself, asking for help is not a weakness but an useful skill, and having the courage to challenge authorities at heated moments can be key to success for the team.

These days, I’m a guide, a mentor, and a certified coach (CPCC). I speak my purpose so others can live theirs fully. I connect people with the powers within them, ignite the courage to step forward and speak their truths, and break through their fears to achieve what feels impossible.

High-performers in Tech work with me to achieve what they truly desire. Sometimes that’s elevating their leadership to the next level, sometimes it’s landing a new role/company, and sometimes, it’s breaking free from the golden handcuffs. If this sounds like you, let’s chat.
